En–Knap’s Gibališče is a space where young dance enthusiasts explore their bodies, movement and their own creative expression through play, experimentation and creation. The dance classes encourage curiosity, imagination and individual creativity, allowing children to discover contemporary dance in a playful and relaxed way.
What’s new?
Gibališče plesišče is now divided into two groups. In response to strong interest, the group previously intended for children and young people aged 9 to 14 has been divided into Gibališče plesišče I for ages 9–11 and Gibališče plesišče II for ages 12–14. This allows us to adapt the content and approach more closely to the participants’ age.
The schedule is changing too. Gibališče, which previously took place on Mondays and Wednesdays, will in the new season take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays:
TUESDAYS
17:00–18:00 → Gibališče Explorers (ages 6–8)
18:00–19:00 → Gibališče Dance Lab II (ages 12–14)
WEDNESDAYS
17:00–17:45 → Gibališče Playground (ages 4–5)
18:00–19:00 → Gibališče Dance Lab I (ages 9–11)
We’re kicking off the season with an introductory week
Before enrolling, we invite children and parents to a free introductory week, taking place on 22 and 23 September. Children will have the opportunity to meet the mentor, get to know the classes and our approach, while parents can get answers to any questions they may have.
- Gibališče Explorers: Tuesday, 22 September, at 5 pm
- Gibališče Dance Lab II: Tuesday, 22 September, at 6 pm
- Gibališče Playground: Wednesday, 23 September, at 5 pm
- Gibališče Dance Lab I: Wednesday, 23 September, at 6 pm
The introductory week is free for everyone interested. Parents are welcome too!
