From Moste to the city centre. On the International Dance Day, Ljubljana will transform into an open dance venue as the one-day festival Dance for All takes over the city centre, celebrating dance in all its forms. Organised by the Slovenian Contemporary Dance Association, the festival will unfold in the public space between Moderna galerija and Narodna galerija, extending into the paths and hidden corners of the surrounding parks – from the park by the Orthodox Church, through Park of the Slovenian Reformation, to Tivoli Park.
On this occasion, six dancers of En–Knap Group, together with five dancers selected by Slovenian Contemporary Dance Association, will perform Grand Epic Wet, a dance piece by the Greek choreographer Sofia Mavragani.

Grand Epic Wet is an immersive choreographic work by Sofia Mavragani that rethinks heroism in a time of instability. Expanding from its original duet into a charged group constellation, the performance dissolves the idea of a single hero into a shifting collective body. Fierce and physically intense, it questions inherited notions of heroism and hierarchy. Instead, it proposes a different kind of epic – one shaped by multiple bodies navigating crisis and instability together. Glory is no longer monumental, but emerges through interdependence, collective endurance and fleeting solidarities formed on uncertain ground.
