Join the Tovariški abonma subscription in the upcoming season

The Tovariški abonma subscription programme offers a bold yet gentle introduction to contemporary dance and theatre. It brings together six organisations from the field of contemporary theatre and dance, along with the Slovenian Theatre Institute – Theatre Museum. Alongside 12 performances and a guided tour of the exhibition, each event features an additional programme comprising a lecture, discussion with artists or workshop.

Join us on a journey through Ljubljana’s independent dance and theatre scene, exploring different genres, gaining new insights and discovering different approaches and contexts for interpreting dance and theatre performances. A diverse map of the performing arts landscape, guided by experts in the fields of theatre studies, dramaturgy, cultural and arts education, production, and artistic creation!

How does it work?
Each participating organisation contributes two performances, except for the Slovenian Theatre Institute, which contributes an accompanying exhibition and a guided tour. Each performance is accompanied by an additional programme, which is usually held before or after the performance and consists mostly of discussions with artists and lectures, as well as the occasional workshop.

We will email you the monthly programme of performances once a month, and you can let us know which ones you would like to attend (all of them, of course!). Each performances in the subscription programme is repeated only once per season.

Subscription price?
40 euros for 12 performances, 12 accompanying events and a guided tour of the exhibition.
Our aim is to make the subscription programme accessible to as wide an audience as possible.
